In 1973’s chilling Korean horror, a restless spirit named Bo-hyeon is trapped between worlds, unable to find peace because she died unmarried. Her devoted nanny, herself deceased, desperately seeks to break this curse by arranging a ghostly marriage with a living man, Jeong. But Jeong is entangled in a vicious power struggle with a corrupt magistrate, whose schemes threaten to destroy his family. As the supernatural and political realms collide, Bo-hyeon’s otherworldly presence seeps into reality, blurring the line between the living and the dead. A haunting tale of love, vengeance, and the unquiet dead.
