Janie is a deeply unsettling descent into the mind of a disturbed young woman whose desperate search for her father drives her to unspeakable acts. When she’s not roaming the desolate highways, she’s luring kind-hearted strangers into her deadly web, only to leave behind a trail of gruesome evidence. As the bodies pile up, the film’s grimy, low-budget aesthetic amplifies the raw, visceral horror, making every encounter a heart-pounding gamble. A grim study of trauma and violence, Janie will grip you with its relentless tension and leave you questioning where the victim ends and the monster begins.
