When a young man is brutally murdered, he is dragged back from the abyss by an ancient and malevolent force—the Aztec God of Death, who claims him as an eternal servant. Now bound to a dark will, he wanders a world shrouded in shadow, struggling to retain his humanity as the line between the living and the dead blurs. Every step he takes is haunted by whispers of the underworld, and every breath he draws is a debt to the god that owns him. As his soul deteriorates, he must confront the monstrous truth of his resurrection before it consumes him entirely. The Dead One is a chilling descent into possession and the terrifying price of a second chance at life.
