In this eerie Brazilian horror from 1978, an ancient woman who has survived for two thousand years hides a sinister secret: a pact with the devil grants her eternal youth, but at a terrible cost. Every time she seduces a new lover, she drains the very essence of their life, leaving behind hollow shells. As the bodies pile up, a sense of dread creeps in, and the line between desire and damnation blurs. Director Rosângela Maldonado and horror legend José Mojica Marins craft a slow-burning, atmospheric tale that mixes eroticism with the macabre, and where every glance hides a deadly promise. With its haunting visuals and unsettling themes, this film is a must-see for fans of classic Euro-horror and cursed beauty.

User Reviews
GoreHound76 – 7/10
“I found this to be a beautifully creepy gem from the 70s. The atmosphere is thick and unsettling, and the concept of a devil's pact to maintain beauty is terrifying. It's not perfect, but if you like slow-burn horror with an erotic edge, give it a shot.”
VintageHorrorLover – 6/10
“I appreciated the unique take on immortality and the macabre, and the performances were decent. The pacing dragged a bit for me, but the moody cinematography and the final act made it worth the watch. A solid, if imperfect, piece of cult horror.”
ScreamQueen4Ever – 5/10
“I had high hopes because of the premise, but it didn't fully deliver. The story felt underdeveloped and the scares were sparse. Still, the atmosphere was eerie and the theme of lethal seduction was intriguing. Not for everyone, but horror completists might find something to enjoy.”
BmovieBobby – 4/10
“Honestly, I struggled with this one. The acting was over the top and the plot was confusing at times. I liked the idea, but the execution left me feeling underwhelmed. If you're not a die-hard fan of '70s Brazilian horror, you might want to skip it.”
