In this delightfully bonkers satire, a desperate movie mogul green-lights a tax-shelter flick that spirals into a gloriously unhinged space parody. A feisty young heroine, a gleefully mad scientist, and a crustacean creature from beyond the stars collide in a whirlwind of cheesy effects and deadpan humor. As the budget dwindles and egos clash, the line between the film-within-a-film and the chaos behind the scenes blurs into a deliciously weird meta-horror comedy. With its DIY charm and off-kilter tone, this cult oddity serves up campy scares and laugh-out-loud absurdity in equal measure.
