When Helena’s dream of opening a grocery store finally comes true, she thinks her life is falling into place. But a sudden layoff plunges her family into financial chaos, forcing Helena to carry the weight alone. As her husband Otavio spirals into a mysterious illness, eerie occurrences begin to plague their home, blurring the line between reality and nightmare. A creeping sense of dread builds with every passing day, turning their daily struggles into a haunting descent into madness. This unsettling Brazilian horror masterfully blends social realism with supernatural terror, leaving a lingering chill long after the credits roll.

User Reviews
NightOwl2011 – 7/10
“I was drawn in by the slow-burn atmosphere. The way the mundane becomes terrifying is brilliantly done. It's not your typical jump-scare horror, but the uneasy feeling sticks with you.”
ScaryFan88 – 6/10
“The concept is original and the performances are solid, but I felt the pacing dragged a bit in the middle. Still, the chilling final act made it worth my time.”
CinephileDan – 7/10
“I appreciated how the film uses horror as a metaphor for social anxiety. The eerie sounds and subtle visuals created a constant sense of dread. Definitely a hidden gem.”
GoreHound_22 – 5/10
“I was expecting more explicit scares, but this one goes for psychological unease. It's well-made, just not my cup of tea. The ending left me puzzled rather than frightened.”
