When a bizarre outbreak traps a group of patients and staff inside a quarantined hospital, detective Jim Bishop and Dr. Rachel Carson uncover a horrifying secret: a giant, mutated insect is preying on the infected, and its bite carries a deadly contagion. As the body count rises and the creature grows stronger, the survivors must race against time to destroy the monstrous beast before it can spawn and unleash a plague that could wipe out the city. With claustrophobic tension, gruesome practical effects, and a creepy 80s atmosphere, Blue Monkey is a forgotten gem of body horror that will make you dread hospital visits forever.
