In the sun-bleached shadows of 1970s Venice, California, a lethal nuclear accident births a nightmare from the deep. The Slithis, a grotesque hybrid of man and beast, begins to slither through the canals, preying on the unsuspecting souls who drift into its path—drug-addled hippies, weathered winos, and innocent pets alike. As the body count rises and fear grips the beachside community, a desperate few must confront the horrors lurking beneath the surface. A grimy, low-budget gem that oozes with paranoia and primal dread, this cult classic captures the era’s ecological anxieties in the form of a relentless, flesh-hungry mutation. Will anyone escape the tide of terror that has washed ashore?
