User Reviews
CelluloidScream – 9/10
“Michael Powell's 'Peeping Tom' is a disturbingly brilliant exploration of voyeurism. The first-person POV shots put you right in the killer's shoes, making you complicit in the horror. It's a film that stays with you long after the credits roll.”
RetroHorrorNerd – 7/10
“I can see why this was controversial back in 1960 – it's surprisingly graphic for its time. The concept is chilling, but the pacing drags in the middle. Still, Karlheinz Böhm's performance is unforgettable.”
FrightFanatic – 6/10
“Maybe I'm desensitized from modern horror, but I found this more tragic than scary. The psychological depth is there, but the scares are subtle. If you're looking for a creepy character study, this is for you.”
SlasherSoul – 8/10
“This movie is a slow burn, but that final shot is iconic. I loved the meta-commentary on cinema and fear. It's not for everyone, but if you appreciate classic horror with a brain, give it a shot.”
