Haunted by the brutal murder of her prostitute mother, Olivia’s fractured mind spirals into a dark abyss of madness. Trapped in a loveless marriage with an abusive husband, her dormant schizophrenia erupts into violent fantasies and deadly compulsions. As her grip on reality loosens, the line between victim and predator blurs, leading to a chilling descent into homicidal obsession. Directed by Ulli Lommel, this 1983 psycho-thriller is a raw, unsettling exploration of trauma, vengeance, and the terrifying fragility of the human psyche.
