In the suffocating stillness of a luxurious home, a woman’s desperate affair spirals into a nightmare when her lover poisons her domineering husband before her eyes. But the horror doesn’t end with the last gasp of her tyrant spouse: she soon discovers her co-conspirator dead, a twisted game of fate that leaves her paralyzed with dread. When a steely police detective appears on her doorstep, the line between refuge and trap blurs, and every shadow seems to hide a new betrayal. As the secrets of that fatal night unravel, she must confront a truth more chilling than murder itself—no one is who they seem, and safety is a fleeting illusion.
