In the aftermath of a brutal medical experiment gone horribly wrong, Amber Sheridan is the sole survivor, but her mind is a shattered labyrinth of lost memories and nightmarish visions. Haunted by fragments of a childhood she can’t quite grasp and hunted by ruthless profiteers who see her damaged brain as their golden ticket, she flees into the American heartland. With every mile, reality bends and twists around her, as she desperately follows the only clue she has—a mysterious stranger who may hold the key to her salvation or the trigger for her final descent into madness.
