Haunted by a past she can’t outrun, a young woman has buried herself in a remote Japanese village, far from the life she fled. When her step-sister’s challenge forces her to confront the ghosts of her history, she’s violently torn from her fragile sanctuary and thrust into a sprawling, nightmarish wilderness. As a relentless, shape-shifting monster stalks her every move, she has just four nights to navigate this terrifying realm and reach the neon-danger of Tokyo. Every step brings her closer to the truth she’s evaded, and the only way to survive is to face the demons within and without, in a race against time where madness and reality blur.
