In the shadows of Hong Kong, an ancient curse awakens as a demonic cat with nine lives prowls for vengeance. Master Cheung, the last guardian of a lineage sworn to protect humanity, must confront his family’s darkest legacy. As the supernatural predator closes in, every life it claims brings it closer to ultimate power. Dennis Yu crafts a chilling tale of duty and sacrifice, where the line between man and beast blurs in the dead of night. Will the final protector hold the line, or will the cat’s ninth life spell doom for all?
