In the haunting twilight of 1897, a desperate young woman, betrayed by fate, dares to cross the threshold into forbidden black magic. “This one caught me off guard. The atmosphere is thick with dread from start to finish, and the way they blend period horror with the modern setting is masterful. The witch's backstory is genuinely tragic, and when she starts hunting the archeologists, I was on the edge of my seat. Highly recommend it for fans of slow-burn scares.”

“I've seen a lot of Indian horror, and this is one of the better ones. The makeup and practical effects are impressive, especially for the late 90s. The first half is a bit slow, but the climax more than makes up for it. If you can stick with it, the payoff is definitely worth it.”

“For me, the scares were a bit predictable, but the storyline kept me interested. The acting is decent, though some of the supporting characters are a bit flat. The final confrontation between the archeologists and the chudail is intense, but I wished there was more depth to her motivations. Still, it's a solid watch for a horror night.”
