Three friends embark on a desolate road trip through America’s back roads to pay their respects at a relative’s grave. But their journey takes a terrifying detour when they pick up a hitchhiker with a sinister purpose. He is the lure for his father, Dr. Sinister, whose depraved experiments require fresh subjects. As the friends are drawn deeper into a nightmare of twisted science and family madness, they discover that the quiet countryside hides a house of horrors where every stranger is a potential victim. With the clock ticking and no help in sight, they must confront the unimaginable or become the next subjects of Experiment 53.
