In the chilling 1990 psychological horror ‘Mister Frost’, a charismatic yet enigmatic serial killer is committed to a remote mental institution, where his very presence begins to unravel the sanity of the staff. As the doctors and orderlies are plagued by terrifying hallucinations and nightmarish visions, the institution descends into a waking nightmare. Determined to uncover the truth behind the killer’s sinister facade, one psychiatrist becomes obsessed with probing his patient’s mind, only to find herself drawn into a web of supernatural dread and moral ambiguity. User Reviews
NightOwl99 – 6/10
“Mister Frost has an eerie atmosphere that sticks with you, and Jeff Goldblum's performance is genuinely unsettling. It's not the scariest movie I've seen, but the psychological angles kept me intrigued. Worth a watch for horror fans who appreciate a slower burn.”
GoreHound – 4/10
“I really wanted to like this, but it felt too slow and muddled for me. The creepiness is there, but the plot gets confusing, and the scares are more subtle than I prefer. Jeff Goldblum is good, but overall it didn't live up to the potential.”
CinematicShadow – 8/10
“This film is a hidden gem for fans of psychological horror. The tension builds beautifully, and the ambiguity of Frost's character really messed with my head. The final revelation left me thinking about it for days. Definitely not for those seeking jump scares, but it's a haunting experience.”
ScaryFan88 – 5/10
“Mister Frost has a great premise and a creepy vibe, but it never quite delivers on its potential. Some scenes are genuinely unnerving, but the pacing drags, and the supporting characters are underdeveloped. It's okay for a rainy afternoon, but not a must-watch.”
