Deep in the Irish countryside, a secluded holiday home becomes a waking nightmare when a fiery sinkhole tears open the earth, releasing an ancient, unseen terror. As old friends reunite for a weekend retreat, the ground beneath them begins to smolder and crack, and the woods beyond their door start whispering with malevolent intent. What begins as uneasy curiosity spirals into a desperate fight for survival when the group realizes they are not alone—and that the darkness has been waiting for them all along. With every step closer to the glowing abyss, they uncover a chilling truth that binds their past to the horror now surfacing. A slow-burn descent into dread where trust fractures and the forest itself seems to conspire, this is a harrowing tale of friendship, guilt, and the monstrous secrets that refuse to stay buried.
