In ‘Diya’, a woman’s life spirals into psychological terror after a traumatic abortion, when the spirit of her unborn child materializes as a hauntingly adult figure, invisible to all but her. As this spectral presence weaves its way into her daily existence, she is forced to confront guilt, grief, and a chilling maternal bond that defies death. Director A.L. Vijay crafts a slow-burning supernatural thriller that blurs the line between reality and nightmare, leaving viewers questioning what haunts us most—our past or our own mind.
