In the grimy, shadow-drenched streets of 1980s New York, a series of gruesome murders defy explanation, the victims torn apart as if by some primal force. Detective Dewey Wilson, a hardened cop with a troubled past, is drawn into a case that spirals into the supernatural as he uncovers evidence pointing to something far older and more cunning than any animal. As he delves deeper, he realizes that the hunter is not just stalking its prey, but is watching him, leading to a terrifying confrontation that blurs the line between human and beast. Wolfen is a slow-burning, atmospheric horror that blends police procedural with folkloric dread, creating a creepy and thought-provoking experience that lingers long after the credits roll.

User Reviews
MidnightSlasher – 7/10
“I went in expecting a typical animal attack flick but got this moody, atmospheric horror that’s more about dread than gore. The New York setting is perfect, and the acting is solid. It drags in a few spots, but the uneasy feeling stuck with me.”
WolfWatcher – 8/10
“This is a forgotten gem! The way they film from the creature’s POV is unsettling and really unique. It’s not jump-scary, but it’s creepy and thought-provoking. If you like slow-burn horror with social commentary, give this one a shot.”
GoreHound21 – 5/10
“I was bored for most of it, to be honest. The horror is more talk than action, and the scares are few and far between. The acting is okay, but nothing about it felt fresh. Maybe it’s just too old-school for my taste.”
HorrorNerd86 – 6/10
“It’s an interesting mix of detective thriller and werewolf mythology, even if it’s not exactly scary. The atmosphere is thick and the story is engaging enough, but the ending felt a bit rushed. Still, worth a watch for horror completists like me.”
