Dario Argento’s Inferno plunges you into a feverish nightmare where ancient mysteries and modern dread collide. When a young American student stumbles upon a cryptic alchemical text, he’s drawn into a chilling conspiracy that spans continents, from the shadowy streets of New York to Rome’s sun-drenched yet malevolent piazzas. As his sister vanishes and a friend meets a gruesome end, he uncovers a hidden society guarding secrets of dark forces. With Argento’s signature vivid color palette, surreal set-pieces, and an oppressive atmosphere of dread, Inferno is a visual trip into the heart of horror.

User Reviews
giallo_sleuth – 7/10
“I loved the dreamlike visuals and the way Argento builds tension with atmosphere rather than jump scares. The plot gets a bit convoluted, but the creepy alchemy angle and the eerie Rome locations kept me hooked.”
HorrorSamurai – 6/10
“For me, this was a mixed bag. Some scenes are genuinely terrifying, but others just felt weird without payoff. The acting was okay, but the story didn't quite come together for me. Still, worth watching for Argento fans.”
MidnightMurmur – 5/10
“I appreciate the giallo style, but this one felt a bit dated and the plot lost me halfway through. It has its moments, but I wasn't as scared as I'd hoped. Maybe I need to rewatch it with fresh eyes.”
BloodAndGlitter – 8/10
“Argento at his most psychedelic! The color palette is insane and the kills are brutal and poetic. The story is a bit of a mess, but the atmosphere totally blew me away. A must-see for fans of surreal horror.”
