When a successful writer retreats to a remote cabin to escape her chaotic life, she becomes the target of a group of sadistic locals who subject her to brutal violence and leave her for dead. Defying all odds, she survives and transforms into a calculating avenger, methodically hunting down each of her tormentors. This remake cranks up the tension from the original, delivering a harrowing and unapologetically graphic tale of survival and retribution. As the tables turn, the line between victim and predator blurs, leaving audiences to question the true nature of justice.

User Reviews
ScaryFan88 – 7/10
“The remake does a solid job of ramping up the dread and violence. It's not for the faint of heart, but the revenge arc is satisfying and the lead actress brings real conviction to her role.”
GoreHound – 6/10
“I liked the added character development for the attackers, but the excessive brutality felt gratuitous at times. Still, the final act is a cathartic bloodbath that horror fans will appreciate.”
HorrorQueen88 – 5/10
“The first half is tough to watch, and that's coming from a seasoned horror fan. The revenge section picks up pace, but the plot holes and underdeveloped characters left me wanting more.”
MovieBuff2022 – 6/10
“It's a competently made remake, but it lacks the raw shock value of the original. The performances are decent, but the violence feels somewhat exploitative. A decent watch for genre fans, though.”
