NightOwl13 – 7/10
“The stop-motion is gorgeous, and the world-building is incredibly creative. I loved the blend of horror and heart, though the pacing felt a bit uneven. Kat's journey kept me hooked, and the demons were delightfully creepy. Definitely worth a watch if you're into Selick's style.”
GothicGamer – 6/10
“I enjoyed the quirky humor and the voice acting, especially Lyric Ross as Kat. But the story felt a bit cluttered with too many subplots. The scares were more whimsical than terrifying, which was a letdown for me. Still, it's a visually stunning film with a unique vibe.”
SpookySue – 5/10
“I wanted to love this, but it just didn't click for me. The atmosphere was there, but the characters felt underdeveloped, and the plot lost me halfway through. The stop-motion is impressive, but the horror elements were too tamed. Maybe I'm just not the target audience, but I was expecting more bite.”
HorrorHound88 – 8/10
“For me, this is a hidden gem. The blend of psychological depth and Gothic fantasy really worked. I loved the themes of grief and acceptance woven into the creepy narrative. The visuals are a feast for the eyes, and the soundtrack sets the perfect eerie mood. It's not your typical scare-fest, but it lingers with you long after the credits roll.”
