In this eerie 1979 Italian horror, four women sealed their fates with a diabolical pact, but the true terror lies in the child born of their dark bargain. As the 13-year-old daughter of one woman begins to exhibit unsettling signs of a sinister heritage, her mother is consumed by dread and remorse. The line between innocence and malevolence blurs as the girl’s unnatural behavior escalates, hinting at a malevolent force that threatens to consume them all. Pier Carpi’s atmospheric direction weaves a chilling tale of guilt, supernatural inheritance, and the inescapable consequences of unholy alliances.
