Haunted by the unsolved murder of her childhood friend, Claire is drawn back to the windswept moor by the victim’s grieving father, a man convinced the truth lies buried in the boggy earth. As they venture into the shifting mists and skeletal trees, eerie sounds and spectral visions blur the line between memory and madness. Together, they unearth a secret the moor has kept for decades—one that refuses to stay dead. But the deeper they dig, the more the malevolent land seems to reclaim them, and Claire realizes some graves are best left untouched. A chilling tale of grief, guilt, and the darkness that lingers where the dead are not at rest.
