A sun-scorched, isolated island holds a dark secret that the sullen, paranoid islanders have fought to keep buried. When four employees of Island Fisheries arrive to negotiate fishing rights, they unwittingly disturb something that was never meant to be awakened. As the mysterious force once chained in the basement of the foreboding Counting House breaks free, the islanders’ fear turns to terror, and the newcomers realize they are not just unwanted—they are trapped. The Counting House is a chilling descent into madness where every shadow hides a scream, and the only way out is through the heart of the nightmare.
