As the village’s ruthless enforcer, The Cleanser, subjects her to brutal, public inquisition, the daughter is forced to bear witness to her mother’s suffering. The air thickens with fear and dread as loyalty and terror collide, and the girl must navigate a nightmare where faith is weaponized and mercy is a distant memory.
