When three friends set out to document the gritty reality of hitchhiking, they expect gritty encounters and gritty stories. But their journey takes a dark turn when they pick up a mysterious passenger who seems to know far too much about them. As the miles stretch into night, they realize the highway isn’t just a road—it’s a game, and they’re the pawns. With every mile, the tension tightens, and the line between predator and prey blurs. The Hitchiker’s Project is a chilling found-footage descent into paranoia, where the ride you accept might be the one that never lets you go.
