Hard-drinking Jeff Butler is a man at the end of his rope, convinced that God Himself has it in for him. When a wealthy, befuddled old woman mistakes him for her long-lost nephew and offers him a room in her sprawling, eerie estate, Jeff believes he’s stumbled onto the ultimate con. But as the house’s shadows deepen and unsettling occurrences begin to pile up, Jeff realizes he may be the one being played. With each creaking floorboard and whispered secret, the line between hunter and prey blurs, and Jeff’s desperate gamble spirals into a chilling nightmare he can’t wake from. In this twisted game of identity and deception, nothing is as it seems, and the caretaker may be the one who needs saving.
