A film archivist’s world unravels when he uncovers a chilling 16mm reel from a 1900s murder, plunging him into a vortex of paranoia and dread. As the line between past and present blurs, he becomes convinced that a malevolent force is stalking his family. With his sanity teetering, he must confront the possibility that the horror on the film is not just history, but a haunting prediction of his own demise. Atmospheric and deeply unsettling, The Canal is a slow-burn descent into madness that will leave you questioning what lurks in the shadows of the frame.
