In 1988, cult art director Robert A. Burns turned his own Austin attic into a claustrophobic nightmare. Two bumbling brothers, desperate to make their low-budget horror masterpiece, hold auditions in a shadowy space that soon becomes a trap. As they fumble through readings, the line between performance and reality blurs, and their would-be stars meet grisly, accidental ends. Shot to mimic decaying VHS footage, this found-film relic creaks with authentic dread, where every flicker of light feels like the last. A forgotten gem that chills with its raw, amateurish terror.
