User Reviews
GoreHound – 9/10
“Cronenberg at his best. The practical effects are disgusting and brilliant, and Jeff Goldblum's descent is both heartbreaking and terrifying. A true classic that still gets under my skin.”
ScaryFan88 – 8/10
“I love the slow burn. Watching Seth transform is like a nightmare unfolding in real time. The atmosphere is thick with dread, and the final act is pure horror gold.”
CinemaWitch – 7/10
“A great concept and strong acting, but I felt the romance could have been more developed. Still, the body horror is top-notch and the ending stuck with me for days.”
FearMonger – 6/10
“I appreciate what it does for the genre, but it wasn't as scary as I expected. More of a tragic drama with gross-out moments. Solid, but not my favorite Cronenberg.”
