Deep in the uncharted reaches of the Florida Everglades, a group of college researchers ventures beyond the boundaries of reason, ignoring the warnings of the land’s ancient guardians. As they trespass into forbidden Native American territory, the swamp itself seems to close in around them—shadows shift, the air thickens with dread, and something primal stirs beneath the murky waters. Their expedition quickly devolves into a fight for survival against a creature of legend, a lurking horror that hunts with prehistoric cunning. Every rustle in the cypress, every ripple across the black water, signals that they are no longer the predators—but the prey. In the suffocating humidity and eerie silence, the Swamp Ape awakens, and no one is safe from its relentless pursuit.
