In the haunting and enigmatic film ‘He,’ director Rouzbeh Rashidi crafts a deeply unsettling portrait of a man on the brink of self-destruction. Through a series of intimate and confessional monologues, we glimpse the fractured psyche of a suicidal soul, yet the film deliberately blurs the line between reality and illusion. Rashidi masterfully juxtaposes these revelations with cryptic, dreamlike imagery, leaving viewers questioning what is true and what is imagined. The result is a claustrophobic and suspenseful exploration of despair, identity, and the fragility of the human mind, where every silence feels heavy with unspoken terror.
