On a desolate stretch of highway, a weary hitchhiker named Beth accepts a ride from a stranger, Sam. As the miles blur into darkness, Sam recounts the chilling legend of Midnight Mary, a vengeful spirit whose life was brutally cut short and whose fury still lingers on these lonely roads. But Sam has a sinister secret: he’s not just retelling an old story—he’s crafting a new ending, one that places Beth at the heart of a horrifying new chapter. With every passing mile, the line between folklore and reality blurs, and Beth realizes she may have just entered a nightmare from which there’s no escape.
