In a quiet small town, the wealthy Dharmesh Saxena is whispered about as ‘Saamri’ for his fervent worship of Kali Maa and dark rituals. Sensing his mortal end approaching, he decides to bequeath his entire fortune to his niece Anju, who lives far away in the city. But when his devious uncle Mama Taklifchand and his cohorts—Khanna, Maria, and Professor Chatterjee—learn of this plan, they conspire to claim the riches for themselves. In a shocking act of betrayal, they murder Saamri and dispose of his body in the river, only to have the cops retrieve it and declare his death as suicide. Yet, as Anju arrives to claim her inheritance, an unsettling presence begins to haunt her, hinting that Saamri’s thirst for justice—or revenge—has transcended the grave.
