A young couple, seeking connection in their isolated rural home, make a seemingly innocent overture to their reclusive neighbour—only to shatter the fragile peace of their quiet existence. What begins as an awkward attempt at friendliness spirals into a waking nightmare as they uncover the unsettling secrets lurking behind the neighbour’s closed doors. Tension mounts with every creak of the floorboards and every flicker of the lights, as an ancient and malevolent presence is awakened from its slumber. With nowhere to run and trust crumbling, the couple must confront the terrifying truth that some doors are best left unopened. Reclusion is a slow-burn descent into dread, where isolation becomes a trap and neighbourly kindness comes at a horrifying price.
