In Gabriel Grieco’s unnerving psychological thriller, a young actress immerses herself in a harrowing role about human trafficking, only to find the boundaries between fiction and reality dissolving. As rehearsal intensifies, her nights blur into waking nightmares, and the line between her own life and the brutal scenes she performs becomes terrifyingly indistinct. Gripped by haunting visions she cannot shake, she descends into a paranoid spiral where every shadow conceals a threat and every face hides a secret. Is she losing her mind, or is something far more sinister using her as a puppet? Hipersomnia is a chilling exploration of trauma and obsession that will leave you questioning what’s real, long after the credits roll.
