Katie Blackwell, a talented landscape artist, and her husband Will have just moved into their dream home when the veneer of domestic bliss begins to crack. It starts with terrifying nightmares that claw into Katie’s sleep, leaving her gasping for air, but soon the violence bleeds into waking hours. Will, already frayed, discovers his wife sleepwalking, and one night stumbles upon her painting a grotesque, nightmarish portrait in a trance. Katie has no recollection of her nocturnal creations, yet the portraits grow more disturbing, as if something is using her as a conduit. With their marriage strained and the house feeling less like a refuge and more like a prison, the couple must confront a malevolent presence that seems determined to paint them into a corner of fear and madness.
