When a college student vanishes without a trace on a desolate stretch of road, her circle of friends—a motley crew of slackers more concerned with their next party than the growing dread—scramble to form a search party. But as they venture deeper into the night, they realize they’re not just hunting for their missing friend; they’re being hunted themselves. The local sheriff and a grizzled coroner stumble onto a horrifying pattern, uncovering a darkness that tightens its grip with every clue. With the road as a conduit for unspeakable terror, these aimless youths soon learn that some disappearances are better left unresolved. A relentless descent into paranoia and bloodshed awaits, where the only certainty is that not everyone will make it back alive.
