Prabhu, a loving father and husband, cherishes his simple suburban life until his young daughter Satya begins exhibiting terrifyingly unnatural behavior. What starts as eerie whispers and sudden mood swings soon spirals into full-blown possession by the vengeful ghost of a little boy. As Prabhu desperately searches for answers, he uncovers a dark past that binds the spirit to his family, forcing him to confront his own buried traumas. Selvaraghavan crafts a deeply unsettling atmosphere where every shadow conceals a threat and every whisper hints at a sinister truth. With a haunting score and raw performances, Naane Varuvean is a grounded, psychological horror that preys on parental fears and the fragility of the mind.

User Reviews
HorrorFanatic82 – 7/10
“The atmosphere is genuinely creepy, and the kid's performance gave me chills. The buildup is slow but pays off with some intense scenes. Not perfect, but definitely worth a watch for horror lovers.”
MidnightScreamer – 5/10
“I wanted to like it more, but the pacing dragged in the middle. The scares are effective at times, but the story felt convoluted. If you're patient, you might enjoy it, but it didn't fully click for me.”
CinematicGhost – 6/10
“The director's style is evident, and there's a brooding tension that keeps you on edge. Some plot twists feel forced, but the emotional core and the eerie sound design made it worth a night watch.”
TerrorTales – 4/10
“I appreciated the attempt at a psychological angle, but the scares were too predictable and the dialogue felt stiff. The lead actor did his best, but the script let him down. Not my cup of tea.”
