As night falls and the temperature drops, they realize they are not alone. With no way out and nowhere to hide, the friends must confront a relentless evil that has waited thirty years for fresh prey. “I really enjoyed the isolated mountain setting and the slow-burn tension. The abandoned hotel was creepy as hell, and the director did a great job building atmosphere. The acting was a bit stiff at times, but the final act made up for it. Definitely worth a watch if you're into survival horror.”
“To be honest, I was expecting more kills and gore. The setup was promising, but it took too long to get to the action. The killer was menacing, but I felt the film relied too much on jump scares rather than psychological dread. It's an okay slasher, but not one of the best from that era.”
“This movie really got under my skin. The sense of isolation and helplessness was palpable. I loved how the hotel felt like a character itself, with its decaying rooms and dark corridors. The snowbound setting added to the claustrophobia. It's not perfect, but it's a strong debut from Roar Uthaug and a must-watch for fans of Nordic horror.”
“I liked the concept and the atmospheric buildup, but I felt the characters were a bit underdeveloped. Some of their decisions were frustratingly dumb, which took me out of the experience. The ending was intense though, and I appreciated the gritty realism. If you can overlook the flaws, it's a decent horror flick.”
