User Reviews
RetroHorrorFan – 7/10
“This one's a hidden gem from the 40s. The atmosphere is wonderfully eerie, and I loved the creepy doctor's obsession with controlling minds. Sure, it's a bit dated, but the slow-burn tension really worked for me.”
SlasherSam – 5/10
“I wanted to like it more, but the plot got a little too weird for my taste. The whole candy-to-prognosticator thing felt silly rather than scary. Still, the doctor's personality-switch angle was genuinely unsettling.”
PsychoPete – 6/10
“As a fan of classic horror, I appreciated the campy charm, but it doesn't dive deep enough into the psychological horror it sets up. The acting is solid, and the mad scientist vibe is there, but I expected more chills.”
MidnightMaven – 8/10
“For me, this was a surprisingly effective little thriller. The atmosphere is thick with dread, and the idea of someone controlling your mind against your will is timeless. It's not perfect, but it definitely earns a spot in my collection.”
