When a group of college students venture into the backwoods for a weekend getaway, they stumble upon a nightmare that defies all reason. As the sun sets, they discover a swarm of grotesque, foot-long maggots, mutated by toxic waste and driven by an insatiable hunger for human flesh. With no signal and no escape, the friends must fight to survive against a relentless onslaught of writhing, ravenous creatures that seem to anticipate their every move. Tension mounts as paranoia sets in, and they realize that the true horror lies not just in the maggots’ insatiable appetite, but in the depths of human desperation when faced with imminent, gruesome death.
