Resnik’s silence is a cage darker than any cell. A man whose love curdled into violence, he was imprisoned for a brutal killing and the abduction of Kelly, the girl who became his obsession. Locked away, he only woke, ate, and moved when the sun hid, learning to savor the solitude. But when he slips free during a midnight transfer, the world becomes his playground of shadows. Now, driven by a twisted devotion, Resnik returns to the night—and to Kelly—with a hunger that will not be denied. Some obsessions never sleep.
