User Reviews
GoreHound78 – 7/10
“Really enjoyed the eerie atmosphere and the slow-burn tension. The revenge ghost aspect was genuinely creepy, though the pacing felt a bit slow in the middle. Still, a solid classic horror.”
SakuraNoir – 6/10
“The story is intriguing and the actor playing the painter's wife gives a haunting performance. But I wished the scares were more frequent. It's more of a drama with ghostly elements, which is fine if you're in the mood for that.”
MidnightWatcher – 5/10
“I found the premise interesting but the execution left me a bit cold. The revenge angle felt predictable and the scary moments were too few. Not bad, but not a standout for me.”
ClassicHorrorFan – 8/10
“This movie has that classic 1950s Japanese horror charm. The black-and-white cinematography and the traditional ghost makeup really set the mood. The revenge theme is handled with subtlety, making it all the more unsettling. Highly recommend for fans of vintage horror.”
