Eight years after a near-fatal encounter with the supernatural, Sri’s family is dragged back into a nightmare they thought was over. As old wounds reopen and ancient secrets surface, the boundary between the living and the dead blurs, and every shadow hides a threat. Kafir: Gerbang Sukma weaves a chilling tale of unresolved trauma and malevolent spirits, where the past is never truly buried and the gate to the soul may be the doorway to hell. With atmospheric tension and creeping dread, this Indonesian horror will leave you questioning what lurks in the shadows of your own home.

User Reviews
ScaryFan88 – 7/10
“The atmosphere was genuinely unsettling, and the sound design kept me on edge. It had some slow moments, but the cultural folklore made it unique. If you can get past the pacing, it's a solid watch for horror lovers.”
MidnightViewer – 5/10
“It had its creepy moments, but the story felt a bit messy and the scares were predictable. I wanted to like it more, but it didn't hit the mark for me. Still, the cinematography was nice.”
GoreHound – 4/10
“I was hoping for more intense scares, but this felt more like a drama with ghostly elements. The acting was decent, but the plot dragged. Not enough pay-off for my taste.”
DreadCaptain – 6/10
“Decent horror with a strong concept, though it stumbled in execution. The scares were effective in parts, but the final act felt rushed. Worth a watch if you're into Indonesian folklore, but don't expect perfection.”
