After years in a psychiatric facility, fragile Amanda Laru fights to reclaim her life, landing a role in an indie film. But when the director becomes dangerously close to her, the fragile world she has built begins to crack. Elsewhere, her possessive and mentally unstable boyfriend escapes the asylum, his obsession rekindled, and he tracks her down with murderous intent. As Amanda’s reality blurs between performance and terror, she realizes the true horror is not on screen, but in the shadows closing in around her.
