Deep in the California wilderness, a group of troubled teens on a therapeutic retreat finds themselves trapped in a nightmare. Their weekend of healing turns into a fight for survival as they discover the forest is infested with monstrous, blood-hungry ticks, mutated by toxic waste. As the parasitic horrors swarm, the group must overcome their own demons and trust each other to escape the woods alive. A gritty, claustrophobic horror that blends teen angst with visceral terror, ‘Ticks’ will make your skin crawl.
