In a Goodly Way is a grim, folk-horror-inspired chase through the decaying underbelly of the English countryside. When Simon Carmichael’s bloody crimes force him to flee, two relentless lawmen, as cold as the morning frost, dog his heels. The fugitive’s desperate path winds through a gallery of filthy miscreants and sordid cretins, each encounter stripping away another layer of his humanity. This is a stark, atmospheric descent into moral rot, where the landscape itself seems to whisper of ancient sins and inevitable doom.

GoreHound99 – 8/10
“Really dug the gritty, folk vibe. The chase felt relentless and the characters were properly nasty. Not for the faint of heart, but if you like your horror raw and grounded, this is a hidden gem.”
MidnightCreeper – 6/10
“It had a great atmosphere and the acting was solid, but I found the pacing a bit slow in the middle. The finale hit hard though. Worth a watch if you're into slow-burn dread.”
BloodyMary – 7/10
“I appreciated the authentic, grim tone. The cinematography made the countryside feel claustrophobic and oppressive. Some scenes stuck with me for days. A bit rough around the edges, but that's part of its charm.”
Cryptkeeper – 8/10
“This one surprised me. It's not your typical jump-scare horror; it's psychological and brutal. The lawmen were terrifying in their single-mindedness. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes their horror with a side of moral decay.”
